We have inspected 14 planning applications since the last Committee meeting on 5th March.
Three applications are outlined below:-
13/00084/FULL 7a Stoke Road Gosport (corner of Stoke Road and Henry Street), part demolition of 7a Stoke Road, extensions and part conversion to form 1no.bedroom 3no.two bedroom and 2no.three bedroom dwellings (CA)
We had no objection to the design of this new application, and were very pleased with the proposal to retain and restore no. 4 Henry Street as a one bedroom dwelling, with the terrace of five houses built alongside facing Henry Street. 7a Stoke Road (the shop) is to be restored.

13/00138 FULL and 13/00139/LBA Railway Inn 1, Forton Road Gosport Hants (LB and CA) resubmission of previous application 1841/14
Conversion of property to form 2no two bedroom houses 1no four bedroom house and external alterations including new window and door openings. This application removes the shop component of the previous application because of lack of demand for A1 retail space in the area. We had no objection to this proposal.
